Toner is an often ignored skincare product by a lot of people. However, it plays an important role in keeping your skin healthy and clear.
I have lately been really impressed with some of the products by the brand Biotique. So I tried their toner this time. I tried the ‘Biotique Bio Cucumber Pore Tightening Toner’.
Let’s go through all the details quickly and know about my views after using this product for over a month now.
What the brand claims:
This refreshing, pore tightening toner is blended with cucumber, coriander, nutgalls, berberry, peppermint oil and the fresh waters found in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is formulated to bring the complexion into perfect pH balance and help keep skin in its purest state.
My take:
- Good packaging in a plastic bottle that is easier to carry.
- Affordable. Priced at INR 175 for 120ml.
- Easily available in the market. You can buy it from any supermarket, general stores or online.
- Very light on the skin.
- Gives a tingling sensation when applied.
- Doesn’t have harmful chemicals which is good for the skin.
- Tightens the pores decently fine.
- Doesn’t dry out the skin.
- Although this is said to be free of chemicals, etc; I feel maybe it has some kind of fragrance added as there is this specific fragrance which is very strong and kinda annoying when it hits your nose directly by chance.
- Decent product in an affordable range.
